Go for the hot chocolate and the home made cakes
There's a place in the neighbourhood of Campo de Ourique, near the newly-remodeled market, at Rua Ferreira Borges, 137 A/B, called Chocolate | Café & Cultura. In this place, you can find one of the finest Carrot Cake with Chocolate in Lisbon, as well as a huge selection of teas and hot chocolate, as well as cold beverages, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in a friendly and quiet environment. You can enjoy the street shop with all the already stated, but you're also invited to aknowledge the basement floor where it has a nice art gallery, being able to whithold any exhibition that can be arranged with the owners of the cafe. You can also enjoy the cultural events, such as book presentations, discussions on arts themes, and also the debates at the last friday each month (only in portuguese). Definitely a place to go with your friends and enjoy, wheter you're travelling or if you're a Lisbon local and look for a place to be with your friends and relax having a real good time eating all the good stuff as well as enjoying jazz music.
